Toddler Girl Fall Shoe Roundup

Summer quickly came to a close here in New England. It was warm, sunny and in the 80’s here one day and suddenly low 60’s and very cool. Fin has been rocking sandals basically all summer long. So when the weather changed on a dime, I was not prepared. I could squish her foot into one pair of sneaks but after a lot of finagling I still couldn’t get the second pair on. I thought oh I will just browse and pick her up some new ones that fit comfortably. Not in any sort of rush.

Well then Fin decided to jump in a lot of puddles one day and her one pair of semi-fitting shoes were soaked. The next day they were still soaked. This photo was just before the hose puddle jumping incident. At this point she was still engrossed in marking all the telephone poles with chalk and hadn’t moved on to water play. Another favorite hobby, right behind the puddle jumping. But needless to say, she ended up having to wear her sandals in very cool weather. Oops! You live and you learn! So I rushed online to buy her some new footwear! I wanted to avoid this sandal in the very cold weather fiasco again. But then there were so many cute styles for toddler girls. I had a tough time picking out which ones I loved most. I knew I had to do a roundup for you guys.

Here are my current favs for little girls for this Fall!

Vans / Hunter Boots / Stride Rite Mary Janes / Converse / LL Bean Slippers Adidas / Dr. Martens / Nike

I am obsessed with all of these! I immediately bought the leopard Vans. I even looked to see if they made the exact same ones in my size. (They don’t unfortunately!!) The Mary Janes would be so cute with some tights and a little dress. I had to get those for Finley too. I am very impressed with the sole and support on them. The LL Bean slippers are perfect for playing in the house. Especially, with the air turning cooler. Gotta keep those little toe-toes warm! The slippers would make for a perfect Christmas gift. I put them on Finley’s Christmas list! I also got Finley the Adidas sneakers. They do run small so I would size up. And bonus, I got Finley these sneakers not included in the above roundup. I couldn’t help myself! They were too cute.
