Friday Flat Lay – 10.6.17

I say this every week, but, Fri-Yay! The feeling of Friday never gets old. I’ve poured myself a big ol’ glass of Red and I’m ready to share this week’s Flat Lay!

This is one of my go to fav fall work outfits. It is crisp (like the fall air 😜), simple but chic. Cropped slacks in the perfect autumn color, wine/merlot/maroon/burgundy (whatever the kids are calling it this season!). Paired with one of Fall’s hot new trends – sweaters with shirt cuffs or shirt tails. You’ll also hear these sweaters referred to as twofers! I am personally obsessed because it is way easier than doubling up on two shirts the old fashioned way. You don’t have to keep fidgeting with the bottom shirt because there isn’t one! I kept this look simple with these Target flats (less than $20 – such a steal) and a tassel necklace.

The slacks pictured are Liverpool for Stitch Fix. But there are close knock offs here at Old Navy that are similar quality, and frankly, a better price point. You can also find similar styles here, here and here.

I got the sweater pictured at Marshall’s. You can go hunting at your local Marshall’s for it or just pick up one of these similar sweaters here, here or here.

This tassel necklace is pulled from the archives. I believe I got it at the Loft awhile back. Tassel’s are still very in so you can find a bunch of similar necklaces, including the ones here, here and here.

What is everyone doing this weekend? Let me know in the comments!
