Welcome to Volume 6 of The List! Where I share things I am currently enjoying, coveting or obsessed with that other Modern Broad’s might be interested in. So let’s get right into it!

Easter is quickly approaching and Real Simple has so many helpful lists and articles for everything from easter basket ideas (for kids and adults) to decorations (from Amazon!). Some of my favorites from their kids idea list are this, this and this. Some of my favorites from their adults idea list are this, this and this. I am obsessed with basically everything on their expensive looking Easter decorations all from Amazon list but I especially love this, this and this.

Since having Finley I’ve been trying to make sure I carve out a little time for myself for some self care. I’ve instituted an unofficial #selfcaresunday routine. I try and do something for myself even if its small like doing a quick face or eye mask. I recently tried these Blaq Eye Masks. I LOVED them. They are activated charcoal and are super hydrating. They depuff and lighten dark circles. They also allegedly have anti-aging and anti-wrinkle properties. All I know is they are definitely hydrating, definitely depuff and feel amazing.

I got these Blaq Eye Masks in a FabFitFun box. My BFF sent me a sample box and I got hooked. I immediately signed up for a full box. You get full size, good quality products for $49.99 (free shipping included!). The box includes a variety of different products like beauty, wellness, fitness, home, etc. The box is valued at well over $200 so it is a great deal. I’ve ended up falling in love with new products I had never tried before like the Blaq Eye Masks and Ouai Leave In Conditioner. In this Spring’s box, I got a S’well vacuum insulated water bottle, Eleven by Venus Jump Rope, Unplug Meditation Diffuser, Dr. Brandt’s No More Baggage Eye Gel, Lavido Body Lotion, Relax Champagne Charcoal Scrub, and Sunnylife Picnic Kit. I love every single thing that came in this box. And I have a $10 off coupon code for you guys if you want to try it to! Just use the code ‘SPRINGLOVE’ when signing up. I am so happy to be able to be a #FabFitFunAffiliate so that I can share a coupon code for you guys. I love being able to share things I personally love and I love sharing deals, sales and coupon codes! I like saving money and I want you guys to save money to! Sign up before April 30th and you can still get the Spring box. Starting May 1st the new seasonal Summer box comes out. I can’t wait to see what goodies are in the Summer box!

Since I’ve been on maternity leave, I miss some of my favorite haunts that I would stop at while out and about for appointments at work. One in particular, the Juice & Jazz Cafe, right across the street from the Dorchester courthouse in Codman Square is one of my favorites that I have been missing. Everything is amazing here; sandwiches, pastries, coffee, juices, smoothies and the service! The place is understated but cute and they feature local artists work on the walls. They also feature a lot of community events like book clubs, movie nights, and game nights. One thing that will help me when getting back to work will be stopping by here for a treat!

You guys will be happy to hear that I have finally watched a current TV show! I just finished watching HBO’s documentary miniseries The Case Against Adnan Syed. Like much of the country, I have been obsessed with this case since Serial Season 1 came out. It was really cool to finally have a visual aspect to the podcast. But it wasn’t just a retelling of the podcast but delved into more details and what is happening now with his appeals. It literally goes into events in the case from March 2019. I know some of my friends didn’t love this miniseries but I really enjoyed it and thought they did a good job. There is a fair amount of written words on the TV throughout the show as well so you do have to pay pretty close attention to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Are you guys hosting Easter? What types of things are you putting in your kids or adults easter baskets? What should I use or do for my next #selfcaresunday? How do you carve out time for yourself? What is your current favorite coffee shop? Did you watch The Case Against Adnan Syed? What did you think? Do you think Adnan is guilty or innocent? Let me know in the comments!
