Cackle Spackle

I got invited to a Posh Party. I had never ever heard of this beforehand. But it’s basically like a Tupperware party but for personal care bath and body type products by the Perfectly Posh brand. The products are all made in the US and the company focuses on using high quality, and whenever possible, all natural ingredients. The party was very interactive. The guests were able to smell all of the products and encouraged to try anything you wanted. I was intrigued by a detoxifying face mask, Cackle Spackle. I did not try the Cackle Spackle but I was very interested since it had a very minty scent and had volcanic ash and charcoal powder in the ingredients. So of course I purchased it!

When it arrived on my doorstep, I was ready to try it! I applied it generously to my face as the direction instructed.

My first thought was, holy shit is my skin being burned off, will I look like this when I rinse it off:

Melting Face 10.30.16

I quickly googled “Does Cackle Spackle melt your skin off?” I couldn’t find anything so I waited out the 10 minutes with the mask on. I rinsed  it off and moisturized. I have to say the skin on my face was very soft afterwards. But this mask BURNED the first couple of minutes. It eventually somewhat subsided before it was time to rinse off. Or I just got used to the burn. We will never know.

My face felt particularly soft for days afterwards though. It was noticeable. About a week later I was considering suffering the burn for some more of the wonderful effects of the mask. It says to only use it once or twice a week which I think speaks to the powerfulness of the ingredients. But I think I will definitely use this again and work it into my weekly rotation of skin products.

Have you guys ever heard of Perfectly Posh before? Have you used the Cackle Spackle? What did you think?
