Coastal Roasters

Hi guys! I recently found myself in a predicament. I arrived in Fall River, Massachusetts for what I thought was a 9AM court appearance. Turns out my Motion wasn’t on until 10AM. I had about an hour to kill in Fall River. I had literally no idea what to do. I don’t know if anyone is familiar with Fall River but its not the most homey place. At least not in the vicinity directly around the courthouse. I quickly pulled out yelp and started looking up coffee shops. Then I did what any good blogger would and I cross referenced all the coffee shops on Instagram to get a real feel for the places. Then I wasted so much time that I just had to go to one of the closer spots. Classic move on my part. I ended up crossing the border and headed to Coastal Roasters in Tiverton, Rhode Island.

Boy did I make a fluke good choice!! This place has a laid back funky island vibe. Which fits its location perfectly as its right on the water. They roast their own coffee and you can smell the deliciousness before you even walk in the door. The inside is very casual and unassuming. If you are getting regular coffee you serve yourself. The prices are out of this world cheap. I got an 8 oz coffee for $1.00. Literally a buck for a cup of coffee.

They serve local pastries including PVDonuts! They even had gluten free pastries for all you glutards.

The patio with the view is one of the best parts about this joint. I didn’t have time to enjoy it but I could see myself sitting here with a good book for a while. Even on a cloudy overcast day like this. If you are in the area I would recommend checking this gem out. Any suggestions for some place to check out next time I’m in the Fall River area with some time to kill? Let me know in the comments!
